Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of llemmy. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. Please read them carefully.

1. The service

llemmy ("we", "us") provides a generative-engine-optimization (GEO) intelligence platform that tracks how AI engines reference and cite brands. We may add, change, or remove features at any time. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You're responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use llemmy to break the law, infringe others' rights, or send spam.
Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service or other tenants' data.
Don't resell or expose the service to third parties except as your plan permits (e.g. agency/white-label tiers).
Respect rate limits and usage caps associated with your plan.

4. Plans, billing & refunds

Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor (Stripe). Fees are in USD and exclusive of taxes unless stated. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings; changes take effect per the billing cycle. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

5. Your data & content

You retain ownership of the brands, prompts, and configuration you add. You grant us a limited license to process this data to operate the service (including sending prompts to third-party AI providers and storing responses). We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Third-party AI providers

llemmy queries third-party AI engines (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Perplexity). Their outputs are generated by those models and may be inaccurate or change over time. We don't guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of any AI-generated content surfaced through the service.

7. Intellectual property

The llemmy software, design, and brand are owned by us. These terms don't grant you any right to our trademarks or code beyond using the service as intended.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using llemmy at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for the service or other users. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete your data after a reasonable period.

10. Changes & contact
